FloydFest for First Responders

On the heels of 2018’s successful ‘FloydFest for Faculty’ program, Across-the-Way Productions announces its new “FloydFest For First Responders” program, a regional initiative to reward first responders — firefighters, police officers, sheriffs, paramedics, EMTs — for the important work they do every day in our local communities. Knowing that each first responder deserves a well-earned respite enjoying some music, magic, mountains, and community, AtWP/FloydFest is offering every full-time, part-time, or volunteer first responder in the counties of Floyd, Patrick, Franklin, Carroll, Montgomery, and Roanoke, and the cities of Roanoke and Salem, the opportunity to receive (1) free Single-Day, Any-Day GA ticket to FloydFest 19~Voyage Home (July 24-28, 2019).

How it works…

Supplies are limited to 400 tickets, and ALL submissions must be postmarked ON April 15, 2019 (Tax Day), no earlier and no later, and sent to: Across-the-Way Productions, 117 Dogwood Hill Road, Boones Mill, VA 24065. Submissions postmarked prior to or after April 15 will not be accepted; no email submissions will be accepted. To submit a request for a free ticket, please provide the following information (on official letterhead, if possible): Legal Name, Contact Email, Phone Number, County of Employment, Organization Name, Position, and Official First-Responder ID or Documentation (photos are sufficient). For some fun, first responders are encouraged to decorate their envelope, or have their family members decorate the envelope, before placing it in the mail. Across-the-Way Productions will choose select decorated envelopes to display as an onsite art installation during FloydFest 19~Voyage Home, and five of the best-decorated envelopes will receive special gifts once onsite. Decorated envelopes will also take priority in the case that the number of applicants exceeds supply.
