Sorry, they are not. HRAA VIP tickets — admission, parking, camping — are only sold as bundles via FloydFest.com.

The Festival Site Main Box Office opens at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, for High-Roller All-Access VIPs ONLY. The VIP early-entry period for HRAA VIPs has been expanded from three to five hours for FloydFest 22~Heartbeat in order to give more time for VIP patrons to arrive, park and setup.

The Festival Site Main Box Office opens at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, for Small & Large Onsite RVs, Preferred Onsite Parking Passes, V-Dub/Van Life Onsite Parking Passes, Motorcycle Onsite Parking Passes, ADA/Helping Hands Onsite Parking Passes, and X-Spot Onsite Park & Camp Passes. Festival Site Main Box Office hours: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday to Saturday; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Festival Site Main Box Office closes from 11 p.m. to 9 a.m. each night.

Please follow directions to the festival site, where FloydFest Box Office teams will greet you at your vehicle with wristbands, tent tag and a parking decal, and then guide you to your parking spot. Once parked, hospitality carts/vehicles will assist in transporting your gear to the HRAA VIP backstage camping area.

Please arrive no earlier than 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. As our main festival site is located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway on a VDOT-mandated one-lane road, patrons arriving early complicate logistics and unnecessarily clog entry points. Those arriving early will be turned away, which, in turn, usually means that your entry time will actually be delayed. Please do not arrive earlier than 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.

You can find directions to the main festival site here: https://floydfest.com/packing-list-rules/.

Please check out our Packing List here: https://floydfest.com/packing-list-rules/.

First, please refer to FloydFest’s rules, found here: https://floydfest.com/packing-list-rules/. Second, you will be searched upon entry to the main festival site, whether arriving by vehicle or shuttle. In addition to this search assuring that we can create a safe atmosphere to host a family friendly festival, it is also because our ABC (alcohol) barrier is now our entire festival site. This barrier was created when — based on patron feedback — we opened up our beer gardens so that alcohol could be consumed across our main music-festival site (and not just consumed within our beer gardens). Now, this ‘open-carry’ benefit results in strict checks for outside alcohol when entering FloydFest.

*NOTE: We are sorry, but you cannot leave the VIP Pub with your complimentary adult beverages due to ABC regulations. VA ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control) mandates different ABC barriers within our main festival site, thus HRAA VIP patrons cannot take their free alcohol outside of the VIP Pub barrier. We are sorry for the inconvenience (but free alcohol is always a good thing). That said, HRAA VIPs now receive (10) free Beer Tickets, which can be used in any Beer Garden onsite, beyond the VIP Pub (where you already drink for free) — new for 2022.

Yes, all baggage and coolers entering the FloydFest site are subject to search. No outside alcohol, no drugs, no glass and no weapons are allowed into the festival site.

*NOTE: If you have medical equipment, such as insulin supplies, please inform the security personnel performing the search.

No, all patron tickets are issued in advance, via email. You must print them out and bring them with you, or have them downloaded to your smartphone prior to arriving (as cell signal can sometimes be unreliable once onsite).

Onsite parking for HRAA VIPs is conveniently located in our best locations onsite, on a first-come, first-serve basis in the Preferred Onsite Parking Pass parking lot, just inside the front gate on the main site. (This parking was formerly called “High-Roller All-Access VIP Onsite Parking” but is now called “Preferred Onsite Parking” — new for FloydFest 22~Heartbeat.) Once onsite, you’ll be directed to your parking area where you will be met by a HRAA VIP Guest Services team member who will then call a shuttle to transport you to your exclusive backstage camping area. We aim to improve this entire process for 2022, and have created new systems to that end.

No — parking passes are non-transferrable. Once assigned and a Preferred Onsite Parking Pass sticker is applied, they are valid only for the vehicle for which they were originally designated.

Not really new, and, yep, this is a change for 2022. We combined what was formerly “X-Spot Onsite Parking” and “High-Roller All-Access VIP Onsite Parking” into one parking pass: the “Preferred Onsite Parking Pass” (or “POP Pass,” which we’re not sure is going to catch-on as a name … but the pass itself is simpler to understand, and results in a better customer experience, so that’s super cool). This is the best (and only) onsite parking for vehicles.

*NOTE: This ticket does not include a general admission ticket, which must be purchased separately.

*• Exclusive early entry — HRAA VIP patrons now have a longer early-entry period on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. The Festival Site Main Box Office now opens at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, for High-Roller All-Access VIPs ONLY. The VIP early-entry period for HRAA VIPs has been expanded from three to five hours for FloydFest 22~Heartbeat in order to give more time for VIP patrons to arrive, park and setup. (GA patrons cannot enter until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.)

*• (10) free Beer Tickets, which can be used in any Beer Garden onsite, beyond the VIP Pub (where you already drink for free)

  • Camping in the exclusive, backstage HRAA VIP campground
  • Premium parking in onsite Preferred Onsite Parking area
  • HRAA VIP Onsite Golf-Cart Shuttles

*New for 2022, and based on HRAA VIP patron feedback!

Sadly, due to artist restrictions out of our control, as well as Covid precautions, High-Roller All-Access VIPs are no longer able to enjoy onstage seating for FloydFest 22~Heartbeat. We are sorry for this loss of perk, as we know it was a special bonus. Thank you for understanding!

Without a doubt, the most boutique campground onsite is the HRAA VIP backstage camping area. Wooded, shaded and central to the Dreaming Creek Main Stage, catering, the VIP Pub, private stage and myriad amenities, High-Roller VIP camp aims to meet your every need. Each HRAA VIP Tent Tag allows a roughly 15′-by-15′ area to camp (tents are not included; please bring your own camping supplies). Of course, HRAA Tent Tags are valid anywhere onsite (with the exception of FloydFest’s Premium Woodsy Tent Tag area), so you are free to roam — or roll, if you will.

*NOTE: Without expanding HRAA VIP attendance, we have expanded the HRAA VIP camping area for FloydFest 22~Heartbeat, so HRAA VIP patrons will have a larger area from which to choose a campsite.

Sorry, no — HRAA VIPs must bring their own tent and camping essentials. A HRAA VIP Tent Tag is just a ‘ticket for your tent,’ and allows for a roughly 15’x15’ footprint for you to setup camp. Please remember to pack light! “Less is more,” as they say.

Sorry, no — due to safety concerns and space, only tents are allowed in the exclusive backstage HRAA VIP camping area. If you have an RV or vehicle that you hope to camp in, you will need to purchase an additional ticket, such as either of the RV Onsite passes, X-Spot Onsite Park & Camp Passes, V-Dub/Van Life Onsite Parking Passes, either of the Delta Lot RV passes or the Delta Lot Park & Camp pass.

Children age 5 and under are allowed backstage with a properly-credentialed parent, and may share food from parents’ plates. Any underage children/youth between the ages of 6- and 20-years-old must purchase a HRAA VIP Underage (Ages 6-20) ticket. Without proper credentials or properly credentialed parental escort, children/youth may not enter the backstage area.

Usually, it’s hump-day at work — but not this week! YAY for festival time! First, you beat the crowd, so you check-in and park with ease. Second, you have time to build a home-base camp using the keen and creative skill you absorbed by being (a friend to) a Boy Scout. Third, you enjoy the proverbial calm before the masses arrive; a festival site primed for its purpose. Fourth, you enjoy a special ‘Sound Check Party’ with past years’ On-the-Rise winners in the Pink Floyd Beer and Wine Garden, as well as a “Welcome Back Pig-Pickin’” starting at 7 p.m. in the backstage VIP Pub. And fifth, you get some restful sleep to prepare for the mountain-magic marathon ahead.

Yes, you are now regulars at a neighborhood bar, the VIP Pub, situated directly backstage at the best music festival on earth. In addition to complimentary beverages, you also get to experience exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime concerts on the VIP Pub Stage as you enjoy craft libations and exquisite camaraderie. (I know, life is rough.) As regulars, you are entitled to complimentary beer, wine, cider and seltzer, as well as other adult beverages during the daily (liquor) Happy Hours, and a healthy offering of non-alcoholic drinks (water, soda, juice, kombucha, etc.) at the VIP Pub.

The exclusive HRAA VIP Pub is open during FloydFest 22~Heartbeat during the following hours:

We are sorry, but you cannot leave the VIP Pub with your complimentary adult beverages due to ABC regulations. We are sorry for the inconvenience (but free alcohol is always a good thing).

Each meal’s menu offers thoughtfully prepared choices for every taste and culinary preference. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are always available, and we aim to make 2022’s menu the best ever.

Full backstage catering for lunch and dinner is offered for HRAA VIPs from Thursday to Sunday, July 28 to 31, 2022, during FloydFest 22~Heartbeat, as well as a “Welcome Back Pig-Pickin’” on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, starting at 7 p.m. in the backstage VIP Pub.

Lunch hours: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Dinner hours: 5 to 9 p.m. (Sunday 5 to 8 p.m.)

Golf cart shuttles are available during the following hours to take you to other stages, camping and happenings on the festival grounds:

9 a.m. to 8 p.m. — Sunday, July 31, 2022

Patrons can locate High-Roller All-Access VIP shuttles at one of the shuttle stops, located in a loop across the entire site, backstage at the Guest Services Lounge, and at the FloydFest Camp Store. High-Roller All-Access VIP shuttle stops can be seen on the FloydFest Site Map, available on FloydFest.com.

We take pride in the gathering of goodies that we thoughtfully prepare for you in a custom-designed bag for HRAA adults’ festival fun that can be picked up at the High-Roller Guest Services Lounge backstage any time after your 10 a.m. Wednesday check-in. Your VIP laminate is needed to issue swag bags. The bag contains one-of-a-kind gifts from FloydFest’s Partners, as well as a commemorative and collectible stainless-steel FloydFest 22~Heartbeat pint; (10) free Beer Tickets, which can be used in any Beer Garden onsite, beyond the VIP Pub (where you already drink for free); commemorative and collectible FloydFest koozie; FloydFest 22~Heartbeat pint ring; FloydFest-branded carabiner; commemorative photo coupon; complimentary massage coupon; and much, much more!

No — but some people like to (and appreciate it if you do, too, but it’s not mandatory) and HRAA VIP has you covered. Hot, clean showers are available backstage for the exclusive use of FloydFest High Rollers, 24 hours a day!

*Note: The longest lines usually occur in the morning, so consider some afternoon or evening shower action.

Each High Roller receives a coupon redeemable for a 15-minute massage backstage; allotted time is based on availability. You must sign up in advance once onsite, at the backstage massage tent, and present your coupon at the time of registration. One coupon per person, please.

We aim to help keep everyone’s sightlines clear; pop-up tents — which are very frustrating to some patrons, and very necessary to others — are allowed ONLY on one cordoned-off area on the side of the front main field, where they do not block the sightlines of others. The front main concert field area, from the stage to the signage, is for standing and blankets only. Midway back, posted signage designates the “chair seating” area, and, from the fountain back, umbrellas and see-through shade apparatus — other than pop-ups — are allowed. Unless you require the larger footprint of a pop-up shade tent for medical conditions, or because of very young children, please utilize an alternative, as space for these is very limited. All pop-ups must be broken down and completely removed from the main field by midnight each night.

Although your heart never really leaves our festival and its family of patrons, FloydFest 22~Heartbeat ends at noon on Monday, August 1, 2022, when all HRAA VIP patrons are required to exit the site. We will miss you!

Shuttle service is provided from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.+ on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Bring your gear to the High-Roller All-Access VIP Guest Services Lounge tent area, and our shuttle drivers will help transport your belongings back to your vehicle. Apologies, but vehicles are not allowed to drive back to the HRAA VIP camping area at any time during the festival, or on Monday, to load-in or load-out.

*Note: The High-Roller All-Access VIP shuttle service is available on Monday, August 1, 2022, from 9 a.m. to noon as well.

NO pets, please. FloydFest abides by ADA guidelines and owners of Service Dogs/Pets are requested to download our policy. All service animals and owners will be vetted by security once onsite.

No Refunds. Tickets can be transferred to a new attendee by logging into your Afton Tickets account, and then changing the name and email associated with the ticket to the new patron.

How to Transfer a Ticket to a Friend

YES (or download to your smartphone prior to arriving, as cell signal can sometimes be unreliable once onsite). To ensure that your check-in is easy breezy, please bring your printed ticket with you (cell service is not always reliable for pulling up tickets on smartphones).

Premium Woodsy camping — which requires a Premium Woodsy Tent Tag — opens at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, for ALL patrons (even HRAA VIP patrons, who can arrive onsite prior to that time). We have a talented Campground Ambassador who will police this area, assuring that no patrons setup prior to 3:30 p.m. The entry time of 3:30 p.m. for all patrons is to make it fair for all patrons to secure their desired camping space.

Forgot some camping gear? Need an Advil? Looking for vintage FloydFest Merchandise? The FloydFest General Store is a one-stop shop for all your needs while onsite at the festival — a cross between a camp store and a mercantile. Stop in and visit our friendly staff; located in between the top of The Village hill and the front gate.

Forget cash or need more? We’ve got you covered! FloydFest ATMs are conveniently located at the Merch Tent, General Store and Food Courts on the main festival grounds and in offsite lots.

Yes! Delicious mountain drinking water is located in many places onsite — near the Food Court, near backstage VIP catering, in the Main Field and in the Pink Floyd Beer & Wine Garden — and is available for free (bring your container, or purchase one onsite). Potable water is also located onsite, including at a location at the top of The Village. Help yourself to water for cleaning dishes, brushing teeth, etc. Warm-water showers are located along the main path to The Village — and don’t bother with soap; it’s provided!

If you cannot unplug while at the festival, our High-Roller All-Access VIP Guest Services Lounge has myriad outlets for you to use for recharging your electronics — another crucial perk of being a High Roller. While we want to offer the service for your convenience, please be aware that we do not accept responsibility for your items. (Note: We recommend you enjoy the space, and hang nearby during the charging process of your device — we made it comfy for you.)

Also, Citizens Internet Café provides free Wi-Fi and a charging station for all patrons, conveniently located in the Main Field.

Yep, AA and NA members can meet at The Village hammock lounge from 10 to 11 a.m. and from 7 to 8 p.m. daily, Thursday to Sunday.

FloydFest HQ is command central for the festival’s Lost and Found — if you find an item on the festival grounds, please return it to the HQ building so that it may be returned to its rightful owner. If you have lost something on the FF site, please see the fine AtWP staff at HQ to report your item missing. Fear not, we have had many wonderful lost items returned over the years … brand new phones, cameras, and wallets full of credit cards and CA$H!

Perhaps an even greater joy than being named “Best Festival” by Blue Ridge Outdoors’ readers in multiple ‘Best of the Blue Ridge’ Competitions, was that FloydFest was also named “Best Kid-Friendly Outdoor Destination.” Why? Because, creating a sanctuary for families and children has always been a top priority for Across-the-Way Productions. Find more info about kid-friendly programming and FloydFest’s Children’s Universe here: https://floydfest.com/activities/childrens-universe.
