** Your arrival time and location depends on the ticket type purchased; please consult your ticket for details, and please do not arrive early. You can also reference our ‘Info By Ticket-Type FAQs’ on this website.

Please arrive no earlier than the time listed on your ticket. As our main festival site is located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway on a VDOT-mandated one-lane road, patrons arriving early complicate logistics and unnecessarily clog entry points. Those arriving early will be turned away, which, in turn, usually means that your entry time will actually be delayed. Please do not arrive earlier than instructed to any of our three box offices and parking lots.

Patrons with the following parking passes park at our main festival site, located at 894 Rock Castle Gorge Road, Floyd, Va. 24091: Small & Large Onsite RVs, Preferred Onsite Parking Passes, V-Dub/Van Life Onsite Parking Passes, Motorcycle Onsite Parking Passes, ADA/Helping Hands Onsite Parking Passes, and X-Spot Onsite Park & Camp Passes.

Delta Lot closes at noon on Monday, August 1, 2022. You will be missed!

Although your heart never really leaves our festival and its family of patrons, FloydFest 22~Heartbeat ends at noon on Monday, August 1, 2022, when all patrons are required to exit the site. We will miss you!

You can find directions to the main festival site, Alpha Lot and Delta Lot — along with where you should arrive based on your ticket type — here: https://floydfest.com/packing-list-rules/.

Yes, actually, but it will need to be done via an electronic invoice. You must already have purchased a multi-day GA ticket in order to be eligible for adding additional day(s) to your ticket. Each additional day costs $50, and will not include any additional fees. So, if you have a 3-Day GA and would like to upgrade to a 4-Day GA or a 5-Day GA, the cost to upgrade would be $50 or $100, respectively. If you wish to upgrade a 4-Day GA to a 5-Day GA, the cost to upgrade would be $50.

To upgrade, please email sam@atwproductions.com with a detailed explanation of what ticket(s) you would like to upgrade, along with the name and email associated with the specific ticket(s). Then, we will send you an electronic invoice, and once paid, we will cancel your previous ticket and then issue you a new ticket via email, reflecting the day(s) added.

Please check out our Packing List here: https://floydfest.com/packing-list-rules/

First, please refer to FloydFest’s rules, found here: https://floydfest.com/packing-list-rules/. Second, you will be searched upon entry to the main festival site, whether arriving by vehicle or shuttle. In addition to this search assuring that we can create a safe atmosphere to host a family friendly festival, it is also because our ABC (alcohol) barrier is now our entire festival site. This barrier was created when — based on patron feedback — we opened up our beer gardens so that alcohol could be consumed across our main music-festival site (and not just consumed within our beer gardens). Now, this ‘open-carry’ benefit results in strict checks for outside alcohol when entering FloydFest.

Yes, all baggage and coolers entering the FloydFest site are subject to search. No outside alcohol, no drugs, no glass and no weapons are allowed into the festival site. Yes! Located approximately 10 minutes from FloydFest proper, Delta Lot is our ‘festival within a festival,’ as they say, with showers and bathroom facilities, potable water for cooking and cleaning, bottled water and ice for sale, a roaring campfire, a food truck and even a camp store. Delta Lot houses Delta Lot Park-and-Camp Pass holders, both Delta Lot powered and unplugged RV campsites, and Volunteer camping and parking. Shuttle service connects Delta Lot patrons with the main festival grounds throughout the five glorious days of the festival. Delta Lot bus shuttles run from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m.+ on Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.+ Thursday to Sunday, and from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday. But it’s 2:01 a.m., and I wanna go back to camp!? Don’t fret — smaller shuttle vans run between the festival venue and Delta Lot between 2 and 9 a.m. nightly.

But, of course, and you have multiple options. All High-Roller All-Access VIPs camp in a designated backstage camping area (or elsewhere, if they prefer; though Premium Woodsy camp requires the additional purchase of that specific tent tag). GA Tent Tags can be used in any GA camping area onsite, which is basically the lion’s share of camping, except for Premium Woodsy camping and VIP camping. Premium Woodsy camping requires the purchase of a Premium Woodsy Tent Tag.

*Camping (and parking) are sold a la carte for FloydFest 22~Heartbeat, and do not include admission tickets, which must be purchased separately.

We aim to help keep everyone’s sightlines clear; pop-up tents — which are very frustrating to some patrons, and very necessary to others — are allowed ONLY on one cordoned-off area on the side of the front main field, where they do not block the sightlines of others. The front main concert field area, from the stage to the signage, is for standing and blankets only. Midway back, posted signage designates the “chair seating” area, and, from the fountain back, umbrellas and see-through shade apparatus — other than pop-ups — are allowed. Unless you require the larger footprint of a pop-up shade tent for medical conditions, or because of very young children, please utilize an alternative, as space for these is very limited. All pop-ups must be broken down and completely removed from the main field by midnight each night.

NO pets, please. FloydFest abides by ADA guidelines and owners of Service Dogs/Pets are requested to download our policy. All service animals and owners will be vetted by security once onsite.

No, all patron tickets are issued in advance, via email. You must print them out and bring them with you, or have them downloaded to your smartphone prior to arriving (as cell signal can sometimes be unreliable once onsite). If you are a Vendor, Artist, Media, Partner, Staff member or Volunteer, please check with your festival contact for more specific check-in procedures.

Once you purchase, you will receive an order confirmation email from Afton Tickets on behalf of FloydFest.

IMPORTANT: If you do not see your order confirmation in your inbox, make sure to check your junk/spam folder. If you still do not see your order confirmation, contact support@aftontickets.com, attaching info@floydfest.com (so we make sure to help if we can).

If you are having any other technical ticketing-related issues with your order, click here to contact Afton Tickets: https://help.aftontickets.com/attendeehelp/. If your issue is still unresolved, call our office directly at 1-888-VA-FESTS or email us at info@floydfest.com and we’d be more than happy to help!

Please read all of the information included on the PDF ticket, specific to your ticket type. Thanks!

No Refunds. Tickets can be transferred to a new attendee by logging into your Afton Tickets account, and then changing the name and email associated with the ticket to the new patron.

How to Transfer a Ticket to a Friend

YES (or download to your smartphone prior to arriving, as cell signal can sometimes be unreliable once onsite). To ensure that your check-in is easy breezy, please bring your printed ticket with you (cell service is not always reliable for pulling up tickets on smartphones). If you are a Vendor, Artist, Media, Partner, Staff member or Volunteer, please check with your festival contact on general check-in procedures.

If you have not purchased an onsite parking pass of any sort or Delta Lot parking, you park at Alpha Lot for FloydFest 22~Heartbeat. Alpha Lot opens at noon on Wednesday, and shuttle service begins at 3 p.m. Parking in Alpha Lot costs $15 per day or $30 total for any amount of days — from two, to all five days of the festival — which is collected as (preferably) CASH upon arrival to Alpha Lot. Please remember to bring cash to pay for parking! Alpha Lot is located at 3641 Black Ridge Road in Floyd, Va. Alpha Lot Box Office hours: noon to 11 p.m. Wednesday; 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday to Saturday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Alpha Lot Box Office closes from 11 p.m. to 9 a.m. each night.

Alpha Lot is owned by Chateau Morrisette and is located very close to the main festival site. Directions to Alpha Lot can be found here: https://floydfest.com/packing-list-rules/.

Ah, making the most of your Delta Lot camping experience — we like it! Your Delta lot parking pass (whether for an RV or Park & Camp) is good for all five days, so you’re welcome to come Wednesday; you simply won’t be able to access the festival via a shuttle until Thursday. Admission wristbands are required to board shuttles.

Delta Lot features a food vendor for all five days of the festival, so early morning eats or late-night treats are only a short scamper away.

Not really new, and, yep, this is a change for 2022. We combined what was formerly “X-Spot Onsite Parking” and “High-Roller All-Access VIP Onsite Parking” into one parking pass: the “Preferred Onsite Parking Pass” (or “POP Pass,” which we’re not sure is going to catch-on as a name … but the pass itself is simpler to understand, and results in a better customer experience, so that’s super cool). This is the best (and only) onsite parking for vehicles.

*This ticket does not include a general admission ticket, which must be purchased separately.

We are sorry but you cannot — even if you have a self-contained camping vehicle. Due to insurance regulations, security issues and safety concerns, patrons are not allowed to camp in or around their vehicle in the Preferred Onsite Parking Pass parking lots.

Volkswagen buses — as well as camper vans that have sleeping quarters self-contained within — are allowed to park and camp in our 20-spot “private-reserve” niche onsite campground. Patrons must be driving a Volkswagen Van or Van Life vehicle to enter the festival site with this ticket. V-Dub/Van Life parking is located along the rim of The Village, beautifully terraced tracing the mountain ridge. This ticket does not include admission into the festival; GA tickets must be purchased separately.

Premium Woodsy camping — which requires a Premium Woodsy Tent Tag — opens at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, for ALL patrons (even HRAA VIP patrons, who can arrive onsite prior to that time). We have a talented Campground Ambassador who will police this area, assuring that no patrons setup prior to 3:30 p.m. The entry time of 3:30 p.m. for all patrons is to make it fair for all patrons to secure their desired camping space.

No, you must purchase admission ticket(s) separately. A GA Tent Tag is just a ‘ticket for your tent,’ and affords you a roughly 15’x15’ camping space, self-selected in any of the onsite GA camping areas.

At FloydFest, each tent requires a Tent Tag. Only (1) Tent Tag is needed per (1) tent, no matter how many people in your party can, might or plan to fit into that one tent. Thus, 1 Tent Tag = 1 Tent; 1 Tent = 1-or-more patrons. “Tent Tags are ‘tickets’ for your tent,” and each affords you a roughly 15’x15’ camping space, self-selected in any of the onsite GA camping areas.

No — only one Tent Tag is needed per tent. So, if you’re a couple sharing one tent for five festival days, you’d only need to purchase (2) 5-Day GA tickets and (1) GA Tent Tag. If you’re a family of three, staying for four days in a singular tent, then you’d only need (1) Tent Tag — that is, you’d buy (2) 4-Day GA tickets, and (1) Kid GA ticket. But if that family wanted to separate into two tents, they’d need to purchase (2) Tent Tags. We understand, either way. All in all, it’s 1 Tent Tag = 1 Tent; 1 Tent = 1-or-more patrons.

No, you must purchase admission ticket(s) separately. Onsite RV passes are just parking passes for your RV.

No, you must purchase admission ticket(s) separately. X-Spot Onsite Park & Camp passes are just parking and camping passes. Each site is sized 20’x20’ and is meant for (1) vehicle + (1) tent + additional shelter, all of which must be contained within the allotted footprint.

No, you must purchase admission ticket(s) separately. Camping and parking are sold a la carte for FloydFest 22~Heartbeat, so you must purchase and plan for each offering.

FloydFest patrons love car-camping, so we deliver on that desire with the X-Spot Onsite Park & Camp Pass. X-Spot Onsite Park & Camp passes are just parking and camping passes. Each site is sized 20’x20’ and is meant for (1) vehicle + (1) tent + additional shelter, all of which must be contained within the allotted footprint. Admission tickets must be purchased separately.

Shuttle service connects Delta Lot and Alpha Lot patrons with the main festival grounds throughout the five glorious days of the festival.

Alpha Lot — Shuttles will run from the Alpha Lot to the Festival Site and back from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday through Sunday and from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday. (A smaller shuttle service will also run between 2 and 9 a.m. daily.)

Delta Lot — Shuttles will run from the Delta Lot to the Festival Site and back from 3 p.m. until 2 a.m. on Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday through Sunday and from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday. (A smaller shuttle service will also run between 2 and 9 a.m. daily.)

But it’s 2:01 a.m., and I wanna go back to camp!? Don’t fret — smaller shuttle vans run between the festival venue and Delta and Alpha lots between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. Late-night shuttles do normally take longer to complete the loop than daytime shuttles, so please be patient and know that someone is on the way to get you! We are working to continually improve our shuttle program each year.
