Clerk Maxwell is a project from producer, multi-instrumentalist & selector Tyler McDonald. A native of the Shenandoah Valley, McDonald has spent two decades composing and performing music from coast-to-coast. Equally comfortable performing music festival opening duties for GZA or the United States Army Band at the Kennedy Center, his compositions and performances have covered a staggeringly wide range of genres. These include classical, jazz, synth pop, bluegrass, computer music, progressive rock and of course, dance music. With ‘Clerk Maxwell’ McDonald aims to channel this eclectic background and years of digging through crates of dusty vinyl into a truly unique – and analog – experience on the dancefloor.
