Can we arrive on Thursday, July 22nd and set up camp?
Yes.
VOLUNTEERS, VENDORS, folks with ON-SITE PARKING (VIP, RV, and SOUVENIR) and 4 day general ticket holders will be allowed to enter the FloydFest grounds on Thursday, July 22nd.
Volunteers & Vendors, you will receive instructions on the times and dates you can enter the site.
VIP, SOUVENIR, and on site parking ticket holders, you will be able to enter the site THURSDAY from 8am – 2am . You will HAVE to have your ticket or parking pass and will need to present it at the driveway entrance to the site. You will NOT be allowed to drive into the site without your ticket OR confirmation email stating that your on-site parking pass will be waiting for you at the WILL CALL.
ON SITE RV parking ticket holders, you will be able to enter the site WEDNESDAY from 4pm – 9pm . You will HAVE to have your ticket or parking pass and will need to present it at the driveway entrance to the site. You will NOT be allowed to drive into the site without your ticket OR confirmation email stating that your on-site parking pass will be waiting for you at the WILL CALL.
4 day Weekend general admission ticket holders, you will be able to enter the site THURSDAY from 12pm – 2am .
3 day Weekend general admission ticket holders, you CAN NOT enter the site until FRIDAY from 9am – 12 midnight.

How much is parking at the off-site satellite parking lot?
$5/car/day or $10/car/weekend. 100% of parking fees are given to local charities. Weekend RV satellite off-site parking is also available for $100.
I purchased Friday and Saturday passes (or any 2 consecutive day passes), will I be able to camp on site Friday night with my friends?
YES, you can camp on the night between the 2 consecutive days.
I have only purchased a ticket for Friday, but I would like to camp with my friends on-site Friday night, and leave early on Saturday – is this possible?
NO, please plan to leave at the end of the day for which you have purchased a single day ticket.
Can we stay and camp on site Sunday night?
Generally, NO - please plan on leaving the site by 9 pm SUNDAY night.
I have a weekend general admission ticket with NO on-site parking – how early on Thursday can I arrive?
Thursday July 22nd at 12:00pm.
The off-site satellite parking lot wll open at 10am Thursday, July 22nd. HOWEVER, the shuttles don’t start their scheduled runs until 12:00pm, so this would be the earliest you can make it to the festival site.
How early/late will shuttles be running?
Shuttles to/from satellite parking (1 mile from the site) will be running:
Thursday, July 22nd from 12:00pm – 2am
Friday, July 23rd from 9am – 2am
Saturday July 24th from 9am – 2am
Sunday July 25th from 9am – 9pm
I will be riding the shuttles – how will I carry my heavy camping equipment to the site?
There will be an on-site shuttle running all day to help you carry your camping gear from the shuttle bus drop off to your camping area.
I don’t have my tickets, but plan to buy them when I arrive. How early/late can I come each day and enter the site?
BOX OFFICE schedule is as follows:
THURSDAY: 12:00pm – 12:00am (midnight)
FRIDAY: 9am – 12 midnight
SATURDAY: 9am – 12 midnight
SUNDAY: 9am – 6pm
We have our weekend/day general admission tickets. How early/late can I come each day and enter the site?
FRONT GATE schedule is as follows:
THURSDAY: 12pm – 2am
FRIDAY: 9am – 2am
SATURDAY: 9am – 2am
SUNDAY: 9am – 6pm
What is the cost of children’s tickets?
Children 5 and under – FREE
Children ages 6 – 12 – ADVANCE TICKETS: $8.00/day or $15/weekend
Children ages 6 – 12 – GATE PRICES: $10/day or $20/weekend
Children ages 13 and up – Regular general admission adult price
I was told my ticket will be waiting for me at the Will Call – where do I go, and what do I need to bring with me?
There will be a clearly designated WILL CALL area at the front gate when you arrive. To avoid any confusion, please bring your confirmation email with you when you arrive and a photo id.
Will you search my cooler?
YES – we will search your cooler. If you have medical equipment (such as insulin supplies), please inform the security personnel searching your cooler.
Can I bring Alcohol, Pets, Glass Containers?
NO
NO ALCOHOL, NO PETS, NO GLASS, NO FIREWORKS, NO UNAUTHORIZED VENDING, NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES, NO EXCEPTIONS
What do I do in case of medical emergency on site?
Medical emergencies are exactly that – THERE IS NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT to us than your safety and your general well-being. There are two designated FIRST AID areas on site, and there are trained medical personnel on site at all times. Please familiarize yourself with these locations as soon as you enter the site. ADDITIONALLY, if there is an emergency, feel free to approach ANY FESTIVAL STAFF or VOLUNTEER, ANYONE carrying a RADIO, driving a GOLF CART, wearing a STAFF t-shirt, or an Orange or Green volunteer vest will make it their priority to help. Finally, our festival goers are an amazing group of people – please ask for help if you need it.
Will there be police presence on site?
YES
I have an on-site parking pass – will I be able to drive in and out of the site during the weekend?
When you enter the site, please inform our parking personnel that you will need to be able to leave the site, and they will help you park in our short-term parking area closer to the main entrance.
We are coming on a motorcycle – will we be able to park on site?
YES – you do NOT need a parking pass to park your motorcycle on site. Motorcycle parking on site is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and in the past, we have not had any issues accommodating all motorcycles.
We have a VW bus – if we buy an RV pass, will we be given the same space as the big RVs?
YES
I have a VW bus, will I be able to fit in the regular parking slot on-site?
YES (as long as it is not customized and expanded beyond the standard VW bus dimensions)
We have purchased on-site parking, can we camp next to our vehicle?
NO – camping NEXT to your vehicle is a safety concern! The designated camping areas are a short walking distance away from the parking area. We will have folks on site to help you transport your camping gear to your site if needed.
We have purchased on-site parking, and have a cushy set up in the back of our truck. Can we sleep IN our truck?
SURE – as long as you are not in the way of any other vehicles trying to pull in and out of their parking slots.
We have on-site parking, and we’re traveling from very far away – what will happen if we arrive very early in the morning, like 4am?
Sorry, you will not be able to enter the site from 2am – 8am. Unless you made arrangements to stay in town overnight, you might want to reserve a camping spot at a nearby campground. See our accommodations page for campgrounds in the area.
I have an on-site parking pass. We plan to come in one vehicle on Friday, but want to come in another vehicle on Saturday – is this possible?
NO – parking passes are NOT TRANSFERABLE! Once assigned, they are only valid for the vehicle they were originally designated for.
I am handicapped – will I be allowed to park on site?
YES – we have a number of slots in the designated Handicap parking area on site close to the main stage (first come/first serve basis). Please note: YOU HAVE TO HAVE a state issued handicapped license plate or license PRIOR to entering the site in order to be able to park in the handicapped parking lot.
I was told my parking pass will be waiting for me at Will call – how will I be able to enter the site without my parking pass?
You are REQUIRED to have an email confirmation from a FloydFest official specifying that your parking pass will be waiting for you at the Will Call – you will not be allowed to enter the site in your vehicle without this confirmation. If you do not have your confirmation with you, you will need to park at the satellite lot, ride the shuttle in to the front gate/Will Call where you will be able to pick up your parking pass. You can then ride the shuttle back to the satellite parking lot, and drive your vehicle to the festival grounds. (Bring your confirmation email!)
I am a vendor, how early can I come and setup on site?
All artisans and concessionaires are asked to schedule an approximate arrival and setup time. We understand that traveling can’t be scheduled perfectly, we’d just like to have a general idea when you will be arriving. NO VENDORS WILL BE ADMITTED AFTER 12pm (NOON) THURSDAY, JULY 22, 2010. The show starts at 4:00pm, but gates open at NOON. All check-in and setup needs to be completed during the hours listed below. Please contact the vendor director with an arrival day and approximate time, (morning, afternoon or evening is specific enough; we don’t need an exact hour) just be aware that it needs to be within the hours listed below.

Wednesday – July 21, 2010 10am 9:30pm

I am a vendor, but I need extra people to help – can I get a discount ticket for them?
YES – Vendors may purchase up to 4 additional vendor tickets for ½ price of the regular 4-Day ticket until July 15, 2010. After July 15, 2010 you must purchase full price tickets for any additional vendor tickets.
I am a vendor, and I will need to have special deliveries made during the weekend on Saturday – how will the delivery vehicle register to get on site?
If you do not have a permanent parking pass for your vehicle, you will be issued a temporary parking pass and you will be able to enter the site ONLY for the duration that it will take to make the delivery. You will be escorted IN and OUT of the site by our Security staff. Please notify our vendor coordinator in advance of your needs, so that we may schedule an escort for you.
I am a volunteer, when can I arrive and where should I park?
All volunteers are instructed to go directly to the satellite parking lot on Thursday, July 22nd between 12 noon and 6pm. Volunteers will not be allowed to bring their vehicles on site unless they have purchased an on-site parking pass or RV pass. Volunteers will have to pay the satellite parking fee of $5/day or $10/weekend. (The money goes to a good cause.) A shuttle will be running from 12 noon - 2am to shuttle you and your gear to the festival site. You should have received a confirmation letter that you will need to present (together with your photo ID) at the designated VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN area at the front gate in order to enter the site on Thursday. Once checked in and set up report to the Volunteer Coordinator for you Orientation.
We purchased our VIP passes, can we bring our child with us?
Yes – Child VIP Prices are:
Under age 3 - FREE
Age 3 – 12 - $100
Age 13-17 - $200
We purchased our VIP passes. Will we be able to sit on the stage during performances?
Generally, YES – exceptions to this are when the seating is full or when the performer requests no on-stage seating during performance.
We purchased VIP passes. Will there be food/drinks backstage?
YES – VIPs will receive meals and drinks backstage.
I am a scheduled performer. Where do I go to check in?
You will need to check-in at the designated PERFORMER CHECK-IN area at the front gate when you arrive to receive your credentials.
I am a Guest of the Performer, where do I go to check in?
Most performer guests will be receiving tickets prior to the event. However, if you were informed that your ticket will be waiting for you at the box office, please proceed to the designated PERFORMER CHECK-IN area at the front gate to receive your credentials. All Performers Guests will need to check in at the Performer Check-In under the bands name. Guests must park at the off-site satellite parking lot and shuttle in.
I am a member of the Press. How do I register for my pass?

You will receive a confirmation email regarding your registration by July 17th. If you do not have an on-site parking pass, you will need to park in the off-site satellite parking lot and shuttle in. Please bring this confirmation email with you, and proceed to WILL CALL area when you arrive on site.
We have already registered as explained above, and are coming in with a TV crew to cover the event – what is the best way to enter the site?
If you are arriving with a TV truck, you will need to be escorted to the Backstage Press Area once you arrive to the site. This is why it is best to notify us ahead of time of your planned arrival time to the site so that we can make arrangements and reduce your wait time at the front gate. Please register online before you arrive to help us plan for your arrival. For last minute/day of notifications, please call our festival site office: 540-593-3378
Can I record the performances?
AUDIO: Unless otherwise announced prior to a specific performance, YES. Taping is on a first come basis in a designated area next to the main stage sound board. PLEASE NOTE: the taping is for personal use only, and you DO NOT have permission to use your taped performances in ANY commercial way.

It looks like it’s going to rain the entire weekend, and I don’t want to come anymore – can I get a refund?
