Three-time Grammy nominated pianist, cellist and composer, Dave Eggar, has performed throughout
the globe, including featured solo appearances at Carnegie Hall, The Metropolitan Opera, Barbican
Center London, The Hollywood Bowl, Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Avery Fischer Hall,
Aspen Music Festival, Bowdoin Music Festival, Tokyo Blue Note, Houston Da Camera, Floydfest, Music
City Roots Nashville, PBS Bluegrass Underground, as well as extensive tours through the Philippines,
Thailand and Australia with his band and as a concerto soloist.
A virtuoso in many styles, Mr. Eggar has recorded, performed, and arranged for artists in many genres
including Frank Ocean, Paul Simon, Norah Jones, Evanescence, Phillip Phillips, Train, OAR, Robert
Redford, Echosmith, A Great Big World, Time For Three, Joshua Bell, Tony Bennett, Breaking Benjamin,
Pete Seeger and Dr. Ralph Stanley.
His upcoming projects this year include solo appearances throughout America and Australia. Dave has
also worked in “The Way of the Rain,” an original music theater show he created in collaboration with
Bylle and Robert Redford, Will Calhoun and Chuck Palmer. Dave also scored the film “Blind” featuring
Alec Baldwin and Demi Moore, consequently producing actor Robert Redford’s first single. Dave has
also been regularly touring with artist Phillip Phillips since 2012.
